# Finish setup

> The six things a new workspace needs before it can score a conversation.

Use this when a workspace is new. Six things stand between it and its first score.

## The six steps

### Add your first client

The customer whose conversations you judge. Open **Integrations**, then **Connect a platform**, then **Add a client**.

### Name the agent

The bot whose conversations get scored. The same form asks for it under **Client**. Nothing is scored without one.

### Connect a platform

Where the conversations come from. One press of **Connect** creates all three: the client, the agent and the connection.

### Get one conversation in

Paste the delivery address from the connection's own page into your platform. Or upload a history export under **Setup**, then **Import**.

### Say what good looks like

Open **Scoring quality**, then **What we check**, then **Say what good looks like**. It closes when you promote a version.

### Say where alerts go

Open **Setup**, then **Where alerts go**. Without a destination, nothing tells you when quality drops.

## The row in the left rail

A row under **Setup** counts how many steps are open. It goes once all six are done.

## A finished step can open again

Nothing is stored as done. Each step is measured when you open the page, so deleting the connection brings its row back.

## Three more, and none of them block

- Invite a teammate. A manager who only reads costs nothing.
- Import your history, so a score has conversations behind it.
- Choose how long transcripts live, and what share gets the slower rules.

> Only an owner or an admin sees this checklist. A member cannot make any of the six changes, and is sent to **Overview**.
